The Outdoors Show 2009 ran from Friday the 27th of March to Sunday the 29th at the NEC in Birmingham and once again runandjump were in attendance.

The show was a chance for us to showcase our latest designs and spread the good runandjump word.

As part of the show 4 of runandjump’s sponsored team took part in lecture talks throughout the weekend beginning with Graham Milton on the main World Theatre stage followed by David Bainbrige, Chris Harvey and Pas Blackwell talking in the TRAD theatre.

Each talk consisted with information for the audience on the specific discipline of their specialist sport, an overview of their career highlights and the future of the sport as a whole as well as their own personal goals. All of the talks were fantastic to watch and certainly helped to make more people aware of  these up and coming water sports.

There were 5 team riders around at the weekend making a mischief of themselves, chatting to the public and even giving kayaking demonstration in the kayaking pool. Jon Best and David Bainbridge entertained the crowds with some flat water tricks while Chris Harvey’s surf kayak was on the stand for all to see.

The weekend was a great success not only for showcasing runandjump but also for raising the profile of water sports and the individuals that push the sports to the limits.
